NOLA and THE Perfect Wedding!!!!

Brandon and I headed to NOLA for Lee & Megan's wedding...the perfect way to bring our trip to an end, with the celebration of two people that we love dearly!  The wedding could not have been any more perfect, such a testimony of what love is all about.  We not only celebrated the happy couple, we met so many of the friends that mean so much to them and their families could not have been more amazing!  Such a happy time for them and we were so honored to be a part of their special day!
Brandon and I were absolutely THRILLED to be able to spend this weekend with Brian and Kasey, they are so much fun to be with and so proud of the both of them.  It makes us so proud to see the love AND friendship between the two of them...it truly makes us, as parents, happy!
We enjoyed the Saturday together simply walking around, grabbing coffee on Canal Street enjoying great conversation.  It began to rain so we ducked into the casino, which Kasey had never done before.  As we walked in and took a look around, she asked what to do and we found ourselves standing there looking around at everything.  Trying to explain to her about the slot machines, we saw a little lady that kept hitting the "bank" and we laughed, feeling like Phoebe on Friends , waiting for her to get up so we could pounce.  Of course, she left and Kasey sat down and within a minute or two, she also kept hitting jackpots...up $30.00 at one point!  Too bad we were on the penny slots :)

These signs were everywhere but...
Bless his heart!
no one counts the Barts!

It's ALL about the Shunnarah's!

Savannah, GA

Well, I have to say thatI am SUPER excited about today's journey to Savannah!  It is somewhere that I have always wanted to visit.  I have always been fascinated by all the trees with moss, cobblestone roads and all the history involved with this old city.  I can tell you that it did not disappoint!
There truly was a comfort and laid back vibe that Brandon and I both felt and LOVED!!!  We woke up every morning for coffee and breakfast, put on our walking shoes and hit the cobblestone, literally! Believe it or not, Brandon and I love going to art galleries and museums and Savannah has plenty.  SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) has a HUGE presence in the area.  There is even a gallery/store that features nothing but artwork from students, former students and faculty.  Really cool scene! If you ever get the chance to go or if your looking for somewhere to visit for the weekend, try Savannah, you won't be disappointed!

Moon River
This place was great & right up our alley!

Moon River's Beer Garden

After a little shopping, we happened to hear some
good music coming out of a little dive.
When the hat goes on backwards, it's serious!
It was a great jazz place & great people!
Video of the awesome music!

Just because it made us laugh :)
