Biltmore Estates and Gardens

After a nights rest in Ashville, NC we woke up ready to go!  Being so close to the Biltmore Estate, it is a haven for tour buses FULL of the "older crowd" and we learned all about it at breakfast.  One thing we learned is that you DO NOT mess with a senior citizens free breakfast bar  ESPECIALLY the waffle maker or you will just about get run over by a man in a scooter, ask Brandon...he knows!
After we finally got some breakfast, we loaded up to head to see the Biltmore Estate.  We had always heard so much about how awesome it was so, what the heck, let's go check it out!  I can say that it was AMAZINGLY beautiful!  The house was ridiculously enormous but amazing!  I will have to say that I believe the gardens we mine and Brandon's favorite part.  The two things I fell in love with was the fireplaces in the home and the reflections in the water, walking through the gardens.  It was just beautiful!

First thing Brandon said???
"That's A LOT of grass to cut!"

They were setting up for a wedding but
Brandon was able to avoid all the UHAUL trucks
in the picture!

Wall art in the basement of the home!

Kitchen...it was incredible!

I like to call this the "haunted room".
If you look closely, there is a "visitor"
With the amount of history of this home, I wouldn't doubt it!
Grand dining room to host
a ton of friends!
For a smaller dining experience,
you can sit directly in front of the
flames of hell, lol!
Yes, that is a fireplace!
I'm pretty sure your food could
simply cook on  the table as you sat down!

Pipe organ in the dining area!
So you can not only have the worlds worst hot flash during dinner,
you can go deaf as well!

Heck of a back porch to have coffee!

The Lord of the Manor!
And his girls...:)

 The Gym

The Pool
Bowling Alley

The atrium!

The fireplace in the library!

We saw these and sent this picture to Kasey!
She has a fear of these dolls since she was little...
I do have to admit, they are creepy!

AND NOW THE BEAUTIFUL GARDENS!!!

Brandon noticed our little friend!
